We are pleased to announce, that we are the proud parents of a precious little BOY!!! Yes, our little one finally decided to cooperate this time, and the ultrasound tech was able to determine the sex! Hallelujah! During the ultrasound, Ian asked if she could write down the sex of the baby on a piece of paper and stick it in an envelope. Later that night we opened up a special card that Ian's mom had made us that stated we were having a boy! It was so special!
We couldn't be more excited!!!
The ultrasound itself went very well. We learned that our little one weighs 15 oz. and likes to suck his thumb. We were able to see him move his tiny hand towards his mouth, and decided that he would like to try sticking both thumbs into his mouth....looks like he is going to have quite an appetite:) He is just so precious! His heartbeat was 148 beats per minute, the same as last time. Everything is going just fine! Next appointment, June 26th, I will be doing a mandatory test to make sure I don't have gestational diabetes.

Yeah for a baby boy! I can't believe it...I must admit that I "premonitioned" it was a girl:) It will be fun to have a little boy running around getting his fingernails dirty:)
