3 Weeks!

We can't believe that it our little Eli is 3 weeks old! In some ways it seems like he's been apart of our lives forever and in some ways it seems like just yesterday;) One thing is for sure- he is growing and changing every day and it is so exciting! His hands are practically the size of a two year olds and his feet are more than big enough to run at least a 5k with his Papa Reimschisel! At his two week check up he weighed in at 7 pounds 12 ounces and Ian and I believe that he is well over 8 pounds now- absolutely crazy to believe! He does love to eat- he gained 11 ounces in one week! What a Biggie Boy!

Since his birth, we have had some very special people come visit! Eli's Grandma and Grandpa Heuer, Papa and Gram Reimschisel, and Auntie Katy and Uncle Jeff came to visit right after he was born! I don't know what Ian and I would have done without them! It was SO wonderful to know that we had so much help! Gram even stayed for one more week- Thank you Jesus for her! Eli's Florida Aunt Lezlie and Uncle Jamey have made us dinner twice (Eli can't wait until their baby girl is born in April!), and this week we have Noni and Nono DuCharme and Aunt Jen, Uncle Eric and little Isaiah here! It has been so fun! The cousins love each other so much and can't wait to be big enough to play all sorts of games together! Infact, they had a "precious moment" yesterday. We had them facing one another and they just smiled and smiled at each other- it did infact bring tears to my eyes;) (Of course)
