Christmas part one

We had such a wonderful Christmas with our sweet baby boy! Ian, Eli and I went up to Boyne mountain with Nonni and Nonno Ducharme (aka, Marcy and Duane), and Eric, Jen and Isaiah. We had such a blast, lounging, putting two puzzles together (well, almost), eating, skiing, laughing, playing games and doing devos together. The older boys loved picking on each other and the younger boys loved smiling at each other. Here are some pictures of our time there!
Here is our baby boy being such a "Lumber Jack"

On our way out the door to go skiing. I had never gone skiing before, Ian was such an AWESOME teacher! He had a lot of patience with me and my many falls and nervousness;) Thank you, honey!

The mommies and daddies out for a bit of fun, while the little ones have some fun of their own with Nonni and Nonno!

Ian and I love Christmas time and we especially love to sit down and reflect on the meaning of Christmas together. This year we had so much to be thankful for. As we read the Christmas story together with our own son on Christmas morning, we couldn't help but be filled with such great emotion. Many times, like Mary did about her own son, I sit and ponder what the Lord has blessed me with. Every day that the Lord gives us with him is such a blessing. Eli is such a happy, smiley, intelligent little boy and we know with all of our hearts that the Lord our God has such amazing plans for his future. We can't wait for many more Christmas's with our little boy!
We hope your Christmas and New Year were wonderful!
Love to you all!
